Siku Opel GT in Pictures

One of my all-time favorite Siku is this Opel GT. This one has an orange base. I had a non-painted base as well but it was either stolen or misplaced by someone. In any case, I hope you enjoy this post.

2016 Boxed Matchbox Models

Well...this is refreshing. I just wish the boxes were not glued shut (stupid). They could have sealed with clear plastic wrap like Tomica does! But, the boxes were nice to find. Toys R Us in the United States is the only major retailer carrying these so far at $1.09 a unit...not bad. Supposedly, the whole series will be produced this way...I have my doubts.

Johnny Lightning's Jeep Grand Wagoneer

While I love the model, I was not loving the small rubber whitewalls. So I switched out tires from an older JL Jeep. Hope you like. The last pic is the one I settled on:)

While I liked this better, I wanted to keep the original rims so I switched rubber:)

I love the result

Custom Jeep Willy's 4x4 with Hay Bales

This casting is quite awesome and I felt it needed a little more of big boy wheels and I added a load of hay bales for fun. The base really pops once you detail it with a black sharpie and/or paint. Let me know your thoughts if you have a moment.
