I have to repeat what many have said...this should have probably been a Matchbox. With that said, since this model was scarcely made in small-scale, I am glad someone did it even if it is Mattel's Hot Wheels division. The casting is just awesome and once you take care of the chrome interior, it really starts to look the part. I hope you all like them.

I think the only reason Hot Wheels made it was the tie in to the Fast & Furious movie. They made a 6 car set with the movie cars, also in the main line there was a Fast & Furious logo on the card. I am glad they did the car it is not often we get European cars in the HW line. From what I understand the Ford Escort RS1600 was a fast little car. With that said I think Matchbox would have done a better job with this particular casting.
